- My traumatised childhood #1: Kinder Surprise ad

This was one of the creepiest things I'd ever seen at the time. I wasn't alone on the school playground in being genuinely creeped out by this advert:

Yes, that was very worrying, wasn't it? I think part of the creepiness was down to the fact that he looked more like a little old man dressed in kid's clothes than an actual kid. And that clammy skin - yeugh!

And my, that spammer above is persistent. I just had the same thing on every post on my blog.

Being curious, I ran that spam through Google Translate. It's pretty much what you'd expect.

P.S. Where I'm from, doobies are something one smokes...though they were never chocolate-coated.

I seem to remember thinking this wasn't as innocent as it appeared at the time, even though I was propbably only 10 or so.
