So, here they are then, the tracks you voted for. I'm glad that many of you voted for what you were actually listening to at the time, rather than what you feel you should have been listening to. I had great fun putting this together and will definitely be tackling another chart next year.

An excellent piece of work, tank you for doing this. I love Abba as much as the Ramones and Sex Pistols -and it looks like others do too. Result!
We're on the wavelength I think... I was really happy with the mix of styles that made it into the chart.
Yes, Adamski, a superb initiative and even better result (we'll just let number 49 cral into a corner under the sink and fester, shall we?). Happy New Year!! or yeni yılınızı kutlar, sağlık ve başarılar dileriz, as I believe you say it (but don't ask me to pronounce it). x
Your pronunciation is just fine!!!
Happy new year to all of you.
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND THANKS FOR THIS BLOG WHICH I LOVE
Great work - I only wish I had voted like I meant to. You've inspired me to write a post (or posts) on songs that could have made it (where's The Runaway's Cherry Bomb for instance) but I keep putting it off. I'm hoping that mentioning it here will force me to pull my finger out.
I'm just glad it didn't induce vomiting, well except for David Soul, but the least said there the better!
Looking forward to your alternative list.
